High-Voltage Shock Humanely Kills Rodents

No Escapes – Beveled Columns Keep Mouse in Place

To enter the Victor Electronic Mouse Trap, mice pass through a uniquely designed tunnel with beveled columns. These columns direct the mouse further into the tunnel and make it difficult to back out. The columns also help to keep the mouse in place over the trigger plate to prevent escapes, ensuring a 100% kill rate.

LED Light Alerts

With the Victor Electronic Mouse Trap, simplifying your pest control routine is a breeze. When a catch is made, the trap’s built in LED light will blink green. You’ll know when it’s time to empty your trap without having to check manually. Plus, the convenient LED light function will not only notify you of a catch, but it will also alert you when the trap’s battery is running low by flashing red.

Removable Kill Chamber Ensures Easy Cleaning

The sleek industrial design boasts a removable kill chamber with lid, providing access to the trigger plates so you can easily clean it in between uses. Once a catch is made, power off the trap, remove the kill chamber and open the lid. The trap’s built-in safety switch automatically deactivates the trap when opened. Then simply dispose of the dead rodent in the trash without ever having to touch it.

So color me impressed. We had found a few things nibbled in the kitchen. We decided we had a mouse (yes, just one, we don''t live in reality). We have a child and didn''t want poison''s or snap traps. We bought this (newer) model, set it up and placed in it a corner of the floor in the kitchen, because that''s where we wanted the mouse to be. Of course, nothing happened. We found our last bag of Donkey chips had been nibbled and grudgingly set the trap up on the counter. In the morning, my wife noticed the green light flashing. I had not. I was expecting a rapid flash, but it''s really just once every 10-15 seconds. Sure enough, when I looked in the opening, a tail was clearly visible. Now I had two fears. The first was that the mouse was going to look like Large Marge''s ghost and be splattered all over the inside of the trap. The second was that I was going to be attacked by the reanimated corpse of the mouse as soon as I touched the trap. Thankfully, All I did was open it and dump it into the outside dumpster. There was no mess at all. This made us all very happy, so we re-baited the trap and set out to murder the rest of the mouse''s family.

I don''t often write reviews but I was impressed enough with this product to do so. For the first time ever I had a mouse in my apartment and he was snackin'' on my tortilla chips. Now these aren''t Tostitos or any mass-market store-bought garbage like that. These are gorgeous beautiful tortilla chips homemade by a local tortilleria. They''re thick and crunchy and just the right amount of salty. I cannot have some mouse eating my beautiful tortilla chips. I will not. This aggression will not stand.

I didn''t want the old-school snap trap as that can be a bit messy. Didn''t want a glue trap as that''s just inhumane. I wanna kill the little guy so he stops eating my chips but I''m not trying to torture him. So I settled on an electric shock trap. Figure a quick zap and that''s it. Not the worst way to go.

So I bought one of these traps. Very easy to set up, put in your 4 AA batteries, put some bait in the trap (I used what I know he liked - a bit of a tortilla chip), close the lid, and turn it on. The mouse had been hiding somewhere behind my stove and coming out onto the counter to raid the chip bag so I put the trap on the counter along his usual route hoping he''d take the bait.

The next morning I came down to find the trap with a green blinking light. Green blinking light means the trap has made its kill. Now we come to the "no touch, no see" part of the product claim. I think that''s a little generous. You can easily dispose of the mouse carcass without touching it but not seeing it would take some effort on your part. Like you''d have to actively not look while you dump the mouse body into the trash and then not look into the trash ever again.

There is one way I guess you could really truly no-touch, no-see dispose of the mouse. I did notice the trap has a split design. The "kill chamber" portion of the trap can be disconnected from the electronic side without opening the lid, so I guess you could throw the whole kill chamber away, mouse included, and obtain a new one. But that seems wasteful. If you are gonna kill the mouse, the least you can do is gaze upon your handiwork and contemplate what you have done.

All you gotta do to dispose the mouse is open the lid of the kill chamber and then dump it out into the trash. Look or don''t look. Maybe it comforts you to know that the mouse looks peaceful and not like you think he might look after getting a 7000 volt zap.

So first night the trap was set, a mouse was caught and killed! Awesome! But on the theory that if there''s one mouse, there''s more, I re-baited the trap and set it again. Sure enough, when I got up the next morning, the green light was blinking again! 2 for 2.

Trap is now re-baited and waiting to see if there are any more.

So, to sum up, 1) this trap does a great job of killing mice and 2) try baiting it with tortilla chips.

The whole reason I got an Moser no touch is because yes I am a giant wuss and cannot deal with dead rodents. So in the end I tossed the whole thing in the trash. The small little cup for peanut butter didn''t interest it. I ended up smearing peanut butter on the side walls, which it couldn''t resist. Then I was finally rid of that pesky Speedy Gonzales. On a positive note, my girlfriend once got the glue traps. This is much better. The mice are still alive on the glue traps, just stuck. Needless to say, she wasn''t going to end their misery. The concept of this trap is ideal. I don''t have to see what I''ve done. BUT, since I haven''t caught any tiny little fur balls in it, and there continues to be fur ball feces in my kitchen, I also set up the 99 cent snap traps all over my house and it was with those that I caught 3 mice so far. I don''t recommend. Waste of money.

set it up and BZZZZ BZZZZ I heard coming from my ceiling where I put it.

This thing just ⚡⚡ zapped ⚡⚡ the jahoozaphecs out of a mouse. WITHIN 1 HOUR.

My first mouse capture went great as I easily disposed of it, it doesn''t stick or anything. I don''t have huge mice either, normal medium size mice.
I will see how many mice I can catch with it before the batteries go, that''s my only worry.

This means that you can''t just glance at it to see if you have a kill, you really have to stare at it I have had some false positives but very few.. I live in a barn house that no amount of steel wool can mouse proof. The cats are entitled jerks that expect to be fed but don''t actually solve any problems (we call them politicians). A friend told me to buy this trap and I am pleased with the outcome. Unfortunately, the mice in my home are extremely fat (probably cause they don''t need to work on any form of cardio as the cats are useless) so they get....stuck....in the trap. Emptying involves a great deal of vigorous shaking that results in an unknown trajectory of the mouse carcass. Aside from that, it''s as advertised. Don''t overdo it on the peanut butter and use a q-tip to gently clean up after.

I bought 2 of these in desperation after spending a lot of money on professional pest control and another small fortune on storage containers for absolutely everything a mouse might want to eat. The last straw was coming in the kitchen one evening to see a mouse sitting in the middle of my kitchen table. I never managed to catch any mice in the ones where you can let them out humanely and couldn’t bear to see Mr or Mrs Mouse squashed in a traditional trap. I don’t really like the idea of poison, either, in case they were to succumb somewhere under the floorboards! Well! Let me tell you I have managed to catch 8 so far with just one of these devices. They are very easy to set up and I baited mine with a teeny bit of peanut butter and small trail of oats. You just put in the batteries and turn it on, waiting for a buzz to tell you that it’s good to go. You know when you’ve caught a mouse, because the next morning, a green light flashes! Even disposal is super easy as you don’t actually need to see the poor little mouse as you can just open the compartment away from you without having to look. My only dilemma is exactly how to dispose of them, as I don’t really like the idea of the poor things rotting in the dustbin, so I’ve been getting my husband to put them out near to a small piece of wasteland close to us. They seem to disappear, so perhaps the foxes take them, who knows? Anyway, I highly recommend these little contraptions!

So if you think your never going to see a dead mouse from this think again. The no see bit is just that you can’t see the mouse when the trap is closed. EDIT: Managed to trap a total of 2 since I had it set up. Didn’t catch more but I guess you have to put fresh peanut butter in after a while. EDIT: Mice problem seems to have gone away but I don’t think it was solely down to this.

This is a seriously cool mouse trap! This thing makes me feel like I’m living in the future. Not only does it look the business but it’s also super easy to setup and provides a tidy, mess free mouse trapping environment. The problem with standard traps is that they can be messy when successfully activated. The problem with sticky traps is that they are effective but awfully cruel and a nightmare if you stand on one or have pets. The problem with humane traps is that mice (in my experience) just don’t use them and even if they did, they can be cruel too if you’re on holiday somewhere and the poor thing is left to starve to death. This trap, then, is the best of all worlds. It’s super easy to setup. You just separate the two compartments and put 4xAA batteries in the left side. You then open the right side (the mouse catching bit) and put a big dollop of peanut butter on the end panel. This, cleverly, has a plastic wall next to it which is perforated with holes to let the mouse sniff the goodness inside! You then click both pieces back together and switch on. When you do this, a green light shows and there is a satisfying buzz/hum to let you know that the electrification mechanism is armed. You then place the box next to a wall in a troublesome area and wait for a curious mouse to sniff the peanut butter, enter the trap and be immediately electrocuted. It’s quick, effective and there’s no mess. If a mouse enters the trap and actives it, the trap flashes a green light on top to let you know that it’s caught something. You can then safely switch it off, dispose of the mouse and wipe out the container ready for re-arming. This thing is seriously cool and works like a dream. After unsuccessfully attempted to remove mice with the other type of traps, this thing attracted and disposed of them straight away. Yes, it’s more expensive than your standard traps but it’s way more effective, much cleaner and you don’t run the risk of causing immense pain to your fingers when the setup process goes wrong! Snap!!! Highly recommended!
